Gerald W. Adelman Jerry Adelmann has served as executive director of Openlands Project since 1988. In 1982 he founded Canal Corridor Association to work on theIllinois and Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor, the first federal designation of its kind. He serves on numerous boards and committees relating to historic and environmental preservation.
